Vero Beach, FL : Two people injured after Jungle Trail crash in Indian River County on Tuesday, February 2, 2016

A Ford Expedition overturned on the historic Jungle Trail on Tuesday, injuring three people, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The crash happened about 4 p.m. on the north side of the Orchid Golf Course. The Expedition was traveling north on the muddy dirt road when the driver lost control, struck a tree and flipped the car onto the passenger's side, FHP said.

The driver and a passenger were taken to trauma centers. The other passenger was treated at the scene.
