COLUMBUS, OH : 11-year-old girl dies in accident along U.S. 23 on Tuesday 2nd May 2023

An 11-year-old girl was killed Tuesday morning when the car she was riding in was struck by a semi along U.S. 23 in northern Columbus.

Columbus police said the accident happened about 6:30 a.m. A Kia in the northbound lanes of U.S. 23 and attempting to turn left onto Lazelle Road was struck by a semi traveling south. The road was closed for several hours after.
