Daytona Beach, FL : One man killed in struck by vehicle on Volusia County Friday October 16 2015

The New Smyrna Beach man who struck and killed a woman last year as she walked along Daytona Beach Shores will be sentenced Friday in Volusia County.Shawn Patrick Doolan, 37, pleaded no contest in July to a charge of DUI manslaughter from the Jun e 2014 crash that killed Elizabeth Braly, 45, of North Carolina.
Braly was visiting Daytona Beach Shores with her family. She was walking with family Doolan barreled through an access gate to the beach and hit Braly, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
