Lincoln,DE : Lincoln teen go-karting dies in crash on December, Wednesday 27th 2017

A teenager go-karting in Milford died yesterday after crashing into a car. Shortly after 4:30 PM a 14-year old boy from Lincoln was driving a go-kart on the shoulder of Cedar Creek Road and swerved into the path on an oncoming car. The go-kart got lodged under the vehicle, and the teenager was thrown from the go-kart, landing in the roadway. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene. Delaware State Police closed the road for 3 hours while investigating the accident, and say impairment does not seem to be a contributing factor.
