Sherman, TX : 2 injured in single vehicle rollover wreck in Sherman Thursday afternoon, December 22, 2016
Two people were injured when their SUV rolled over along the southbound service road of U.S. Highway 75 at Texoma Parkway in Sherman Thursday afternoon.
The male and female occupants of the white Ford Explorer were both taken to Wilson N. Jones Medical Center by ambulance with unknown injuries. Witnesses who stopped to aid the occupants told Sherman Police they did not know what caused the crash, only that they saw the vehicle as it rolled over. Police said witnesses observed the male occupant climb out of the driver's side window and that passing motorists helped to pull the female occupant out of the vehicle through the broken windshield. Police estimate the vehicle rolled three or four times.
Emergency crews reduced traffic along the service road to one lane as they cleared the scene. Police said they did not know whether speed was a factor in the accident. No other vehicles were involved.
