BETTENDORF, IA : Bettendorf teenager dead after Friday morning crash police believe alcohol was a factor on Friday, 16th August 2024

Police believe alcohol played a factor in a single-vehicle crash that killed an 18-year-old Bettendorf man on Friday, Aug. 16.

According to a news release, Bettendorf police responded to the 700 block of 15th Street in Bettendorf at 3:15 a.m. to a report of a crash. First responders found that a vehicle was traveling south on 15th Street when it lost control, skidded sideways and struck a parked car on the east side of the street.
