SahuaritA, AZ : Two people injured after street-sweeper crash on Thursday morning, July 30, 2015
Northbound Interstate 19 is now reopened, according to Quentin Mehr, Public Information Officer with the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The early-morning crash on July 30 involved a street sweeper and another vehicle and was located north of the Pima Mine Road exit. Crews have since removed both vehicles. One person, the driver of the street sweeper, was taken to the hospital in critical condition. The two people in the other vehicle are OK, officials at the scene said.
Southbound I-19 remained open to traffic during the accident and clean up.
