MILLCREEK, UT : Driver in hit-and-run crash arrested after vehicle found in nearby back yard on Monday, 10th July 2023

The suspect in a hit-and-run crash was arrested after police found a passport and foreign identification in his vehicle. The car was left abandoned in the back yard of a nearby house after slamming through multiple fences.

The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. Monday at the intersection of 700 East and Empire Avenue in Millcreek.

According to a probable cause statement filed in Third District Court, the driver struck another vehicle. The impact caused the vehicle to roll.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to the hospital for treatment. Details about the extent of the injuries were not available.
