BERLIN, CT : 1-year-old killed, another child ejected in crash on Berlin Turnpike on Saturday, 28th September 2024

A car accident on the Berlin Turnpike on Saturday afternoon resulted in the death of a 1-year-old child.

Emergency responders arrived at the scene of the collision, which occurred at the intersection of Route 5 and North Colony Road, involving three vehicles.

Several individuals sustained injuries and were treated at nearby medical facilities.

The 1-year-old victim was rushed to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center, where they were pronounced dead.
