A golf cart driver was airlifted to a hospital after a crash with a car in The Villages on Tuesday morning.
The car vs. golf cart incident happened at the intersection of Winifred Way and Sherwood Street in the Village of Winifred, according to a crash report from the Florida Highway Patrol.
The golf cart driver, Jack Cooper Snyder, 70, of The Villages was sent to Ocala Regional Medical Center with serious injuries, according to the report. John M. Burroughs, 81, also of The Villages, was the driver of a 2016 Toyota Rav4, and was not injured.
