Wynwood, FL : Fatal single-car crash leads to fiery scene in Wynwood on Sunday, 15th July 2018

A single-car crash led to a fiery scene in Wynwood Sunday afternoon when a light-pole toppled onto two parked cars, police say.

The driver of the car did not survive.

The accident happened before 4 p.m. Sunday at 150 NW 21 Street. The surrounding area was shut down for the investigation.

According to police, the driver of the car lost control and hit the pole. It was not immediately clear what caused the man in his 40s to crash.
