HUNTSVILLE, AL : 1 dead in Friday crash near Huntsville on Friday, 9th April 2021

One person is dead after a crash that happened in Weber County near Huntsville on Friday morning, the Utah Highway Patrol said.

According to a press release from the agency, it happened about 10:40 a.m. when a white Chevy pickup was driving east on state Route 39. The pickup, for unknown reasons, drifted right from the roadway, partially overturned and hit a large tree.

The driver died from injuries sustained on impact, the release says. Excessive speed and impairment are not suspected.
