Baltimore County, MD : 24-year-old Perry Hall man killed in a crash on Interstate 695 near Windsor Mill Road on Saturday morning, January 31, 2015

A 24-year-old man was killed in a crash on the outer loop of Interstate 695 near Windsor Mill Road early Saturday morning, Maryland State Police said.
The man, identified Saturday morning as Kevin Charles Meehan of Perry Hall, was driving a 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe when it veered off the road and became wedged between a tree and a sound barrier wall in a grassy area on the side of the road, police said.
He was pronounced dead on the scene at about 1:27 a.m., police said.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and it is unknown whether alcohol or any other substance was involved, police said.
No other passengers were in the car, and no one else was injured. Three lanes of the Beltway were temporarily closed Friday night, but have since reopened.
