EDINBURG, TX : One dead in crash east of Edinburg on Saturday, 16th March 2024

The Texas Department of Public Safety has identified the driver who died in the two-vehicle fatal crash that occurred Saturday evening.

Authorities identified the Chevrolet driver as 34-year-old, Edinburg resident, Sergio Alejandro Padilla-Luna.

At about 6:40 p.m., a white Dodge Ram pickup and a gray Chevrolet Trailblazer collided on FM 1925 and Tower Road east of Edinburg in Hidalgo County.
