BALTIMORE, MD : Investigation underway following fatal multi-vehicle crash on I-695 on Saturday, 20th April 2024

A Baltimore Police SWAT officer was killed in a crash Saturday afternoon on the Baltimore Beltway.

Anthony Gregory Ward, 36, was driving on the I-695 inner loop between Greenspring Avenue and Greenspring Avenue when he crashed into the back of a tow truck.
