Waterford, NY : 14-year-old killed in car accident in Waterford on Saturday, 29th June 2024

A serious motor vehicle accident in Waterford Saturday night, leaving one person dead and another injured.

Waterford PD tells us that the accident happened around 8:44 p.m. in the area of 95 Fonda Road.One occupant, a 14-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another passenger in the vehicle, a 16-year-old male, was taken to Albany Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities say the 18-year-old driver, Everhett R. Hatlee, of Troy, was impaired by marijuana and was arrested on multiple offenses.
