KIRKSVILLE, MO : Baring man injured in crash on Wednesday, 7th November 2018

An early Wednesday morning crash east of Kirksville injured a Baring man.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2009 Mercury Mariner driven by Donnie A. Swartz, 46, of Baring, was southbound on Mo. 11, 8 miles east of Kirksville, at 1:30 a.m. when it struck a deer in the road.

Swartz, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken by Adair County Ambulance to Northeast Regional Medical Center in Kirksville with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Kirksville Fire Department.
