Belle Isle, FL : Woman trying to cross street dies after crash near the Orlando International Airport on Thursday night, June 2, 2016

A woman from Thailand was trying to cross a road near the Orlando International Airport on Thursday night when she was struck by a car, the Florida Highway Patrol stated.

Prayut Olsen, 44, was hit by a 2006 Toyota Corolla driven by 18-year-old Isaac Pullin as she was attempting to cross McCoy Road in Belle Isle at about 11:13 p.m., a report stated.

Pullin was traveling eastbound in the right lane of McCoy Road when he changed into the left lane. As he made the lane change, the front of his car struck Olsen, the accident report stated.

She was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center where she died, the accident report explained, which included that alcohol was not involved.

The crash remains under investigation.
