Peninsula, OH : Man dead in fiery one-car crash in in Summit County early Wednesday, May 11, 2016

The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office and the Peninsula Police Department are investigating the traffic death of an unidentified man.

Just before 5 a.m. today (May 11), Peninsula Police were called to a traffic crash in the 300 block of Kendall Park Road.

They found where a vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree.

The vehicle then caught fire.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

His name will be released, according to the Summit County Medical Examiner, when positive identification is made.
