Benicia,CA : Concord woman killed in Solano County crash on August, Friday 4th 2017

The Solano County coroner’s office has identified a woman who died in a vehicle collision last week on the Benicia-Martinez Bridge as 22-year-old Patricia Roy of Concord.

Roy was driving a Honda sedan north on Interstate Highway 680 just south of the Interstate Highway 780 split in Benicia around 6 a.m. Aug. 4 when it struck the back of a slower moving tractor-trailer, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The Honda then veered left across all traffic lanes and struck a concrete wall, CHP officials said.
Roy died at the scene at 6:21 a.m., according to the coroner’s office.
