MAURY COUNTY, TN : 1 killed in head-on crash in Maury County on Highway 43 near Old Jackson Highway on Saturday, 2nd March 2019

A 59-year-old man was killed in a head-on crash in Maury County Saturday night.

The crash happened around 11:30 p.m. on Highway 43 near Old Jackson Highway.

The Maury County Fire Department reported crews found three victims trapped inside the vehicles, one of which was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol identified the victim as Johnny Scott, of Lawrenceburg.

Another victim was airlifted to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Their condition was not immediately released.
