GREENVILLE Co., SC : 1 dead in crash on White Horse Road on Friday, 15th February 2019

A man was killed in an early-morning crash on White Horse Road on Friday.
The Greenville County Coroner’s Office confirmed they responded to the crash near Easley Bridge Road.
South Carolina Highway Patrol troopers said the wreck happened around 6:30 a.m. Friday.
According to highway patrol, a 2011 Honda was traveling south on White Horse Road and a tractor trailer was traveling in the opposite direction.
The tractor trailer turned left onto Highway 123 and was hit by the Honda.
The driver of the Honda -- Gary Rudolph Martin, 63, of Greenville -- was trapped in the vehicle and had to mechanically freed.
According to a news release from the Greenville County Coroner's Office, Martin was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, and was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
The coroner's office said Martin died from blunt force head injuries and his manner of death has been deemed an accident.
