Memphis,TN : MPD cruiser hit from behind on I-40 on August, Thursday 17th 2017

A Memphis police cruiser was involved in a crash Thursday morning.

The crash happened after 3 a.m. near I-40 and Whitten Road.

One person was taken to the hospital in the crash.

However, police said the cruiser was empty when it was hit.

The driver was cited for failure to maintain a safe lookout and financial responsibility.
