Minneapolis, MN : 68-year-old Iowa man died in an ATV crash near Lake Vermillion on Monday afternoon, Nov 9, 2015

A Iowa man was killed in an ATV crash near Lake Vermillion early Monday night.
Authorities said Charles Malmgren, 68, was driving his four-wheeler east in the 4900 block of Mud Creek Road before he swerved into a ditch, striking a rock.
The incident occurred around 3:50 p.m.
Malmgren died on the scene, and alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the crash, authorities said.
The incident is still under investigation.
Responding agencies were: St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Breitung Police Department, Air Medical, Virginia Ambulance, Tower Ambulance, Greenwood First Responders, Eagle's Nest First Responders, Eagle's Nest Fire Department and Morse Fire Department.
