Roanoke, VA : A Lynch Station woman died after a crash in Bedford County on Monday, August 21, 2017

A 2008 Saturn Astra was traveling west on Virginia 834 when it ran off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree near the road’s intersection with Virginia 253.

The driver, 64-year-old Paula Cox Wood, died at the scene. She was not wearing a seat belt.
