Loveland , CO : Two-car Head-on collision closes South St. Louis Avenue on Wednesday February 17 2016

A two-car collision closed down South St. Louis Avenue from Bunting Place to Southeast Eighth Street in downtown Loveland just before 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
According to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Paul Dirkes, a Chevy pickup truck was driving south on South St. Louise Avenue when it swerved into the northbound lane and collided with a Ford Explorer.Both drivers were medically cleared at the scene; however, the passenger of the Explorer was taken to McKee Medical Center suffering what Dirkes called moderate to serious injuries.
No one was else was involved in the crash.
South St. Louis Avenue was closed from Bunting Place to Southeast Eighth Street for approximately an hour.
Loveland Fire Rescue Authority and Thompson Valley Emergency Medical Services crews also responded to the crash.
