Upper Marlboro ,MD :one person Killed after car crashes head-on into tour bus on Monday ,September 14th 2015

A crash on Maryland Route 4 in Prince George’s County near the Anne Arundel County line has left one person dead and the road shut down in the area, authorities said.

For reasons that are still being investigated, a car crashed head-on into a tour bus on Route 4, said Mark Brady, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County fire department. The person in the car died, and two people on the bus sustained injuries that were not considered life threatening, Brady said. It’s unclear how many people were on the bus at the time.

As of about 3:15 p.m., all lanes of Route 4 going southbound have been shut down as officials investigate the crash, authorities with the Maryland State Police said.

Authorities have not yet identified the person who died in the crash.
