A 77-year-old Long Island motorist is accused of fleeing the scene after fatally striking a man riding a bike.
Nassau County police say it happened in North Massapequa Sunday evening.
They say Francis Ossandone struck the bicyclist on Hicksville Road.
He was later arrested at his Bethpage home on charges of leaving the scene of a fatality. He's scheduled to be arraigned on Monday.
It wasn't immediately clear if he had a lawyer who could comment on the charges.
The victim was identified as 59-year-old Francis Llanos of Seaford. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.
