Sand Lake ,OR : Two women airlifted after ATV crash on Saturda ,july 4th 2015

Two women were airlifted to the hospital on the Fourth of July after an ATV crash at Sand Lake, the Tillamook County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies said the women, ages 20 and 25, were riding on a quad-wheeler when around 1 p.m. they hit some rough ground and the ATV overturned.

Their injuries were considered “pretty serious.” Officials aren't sure of their current condition; both women were flown by air ambulance to a Portland hospital.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, and speed was likely a factor.
