Hannibal, MO : Two Louisiana, Mo., men injured in truck crash on Sunday, February 12th 2017
Jeremy L. Baker, 26, and his passenger, Jordan R. Hansen, 28, both of Louisiana, Mo., suffered serious injuries in a truck crash at 1:02 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 12, in rural Pike County, Mo. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
Both were flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
Officers reported Baker was driving a 2003 Freightliner 3000 south on Route NN south of Pike County Road 274, when the truck traveled partially off the right side of the road.
Baker overcorrected, causing the truck to begin sliding across the road. It then went partially off the left side, and he again overcorrected. The truck returned to the roadway, overturned and slid off the right side of the road, hitting a mailbox.
