Dayton, OH : Five people injured after a hit-and-run crash at James H. McGee and Edison Street on Monday afternoon, December 21, 2015

A hit-and-run crash at James H. McGee and Edison Street Monday afternoon sent one adult and four children to the hospital.

Captain Matt McClain of the Dayton Fire Department tells 2 NEWS two vehicles were involved. One of them fled the scene.

The other vehicle had one adult and four children inside ranging in age from early teens to one-year-old. All of them were taken to various hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are still looking for a black male suspect with dreadlocks, wearing a tan checkered shirt and tan pants who drove off in a red Ford Escort.

Fire officials tell 2 NEWS the children were not ejected from the car. It is unknown if seat belts were in use.

This incident is still under investigation.
