Laconia, N.H : 27-year-old man crashes stolen car while driving drunk on Tuesday afternoon, April 14, 2015

A Laconia man has been accused of crashing a stolen car while driving drunk.

Police said Nicholas Perriera, 27, stole the car from a Walmart parking lot in Gilford on Tuesday afternoon, crashed it along White Oaks Road in Laconia and then fled into the woods.

He was arrested about a mile away and charged with receiving stolen property, driving while intoxicated, conduct after an accident, operating without a valid license and willful concealment.
