WICHITA, KS : Man critically injured in Butler County crash on Saturday, 18th May 2024

An Augusta man suffered critical injuries in a crash reported Saturday afternoon on northbound Interstate 35 in Butler County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported the crash at about 1:30 p.m., in which the driver of a 2006 Dodge Stratus lost control of his vehicle, went off to the right side of the road, struck the embankment, and went through the fence line.

KHP says the driver, 48-year-old Max Pierce II from Augusta, was taken from the scene to a local hospital in critical condition.
