Joplin, MO : A young Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, December, 17th 2017

A young Joplin woman was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 11:20 a.m. Sunday on Route V, about 5 miles west of Diamond in Newton County, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Sally A. Owuor, 21, was taken to Freeman Hospital West in Joplin with what appeared to be minor injuries.

According to the patrol, a westbound vehicle driven by Curtis L. Channel, 19, of Granby, ran into the rear of the Owuor vehicle, which then ran off the road and overturned.
