A Batesville man was killed in an early Sunday morning motorcycle accident.
According to an Arkansas State Police crash report, Billy Eugene Varela, 27, was trying to go around a curve on his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle in the 3200-block of Highway 25 in Independence County.
That was when he left the roadway, overturned in the ditch and hit the embankment.
The crash happened at around 1:30 Sunday morning.
The roadway was dry at the time of the accident.
