WALTON COUNTY, FL : Bicyclist flown to hospital after hit-and-run crash in Walton County on Wednesday, 6th September 2023

A bicyclist was taken by helicopter to a local hospital after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Walton County on Wednesday night.

Walton County Fire Rescue, Walton County Sheriff's Office, Florida, and Florida Highway Patrol responded to Otter Pond Road, just north of Highway 185, at around 8 p.m.

Florida Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
