BOISE, ID : Fatal crash on Orchard, Fairview Avenue on Saturday, 30th November, 2019

A man is dead after Boise Police say he drove his car through the Orchard and Fairview Avenue intersection and hit a tree, Saturday afternoon.

The crash happened around 4:25 p.m. Saturday, according to Boise PD.

The man, who is not identified at this time, was traveling east on Fairview Avenue when he veered his car into the westbound lanes, drove fast through the intersection, and crashed into a tree, on the northeast corner of the intersection, according to BPD's preliminary investigation.

Emergency crews located the man, who was the only person in the car, and took him to a nearby hospital.
