WASHINGTON COUNTY, OR : Highway 47 reopens after semi-truck crash on Tuesday, 30th January 2024
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Oregon
Highway 47 was closed Tuesday near Buxton after a semi-truck crashed and blocked a roadway.
Banks Fire District 13 says the semi-truck went off the road and jackknifed on Highway 47, about two miles north of Highway 26. Lumber was scattered onto the roadway and the highway was blocked. Officials say only minor injuries were reported.
Highway 47 was closed while crews cleaned up the lumber and removed the crashed truck. The highway reopened at about 12:30 p.m.
