A woman died overnight after losing control of her vehicle on the North Side.
Police responded to the accident around 1:40 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Blanco Road and Wurzbach Parkway, where they found the woman dead on arrival.The woman was traveling at a high rate of speed when she took the Blanco exit, lost control of her vehicle and slammed into a light pole, police said.
The car then spun about 100 yards into the Blanco and Wurzbach intersection and struck another pole.
Police are investigating if alcohol played a role in the wreck.
