Louisville, KY : Lemmans Conn, 42, died in a motorcycle crash at 32nd and Market Streets on Friday night, Aug 14, 2015

The motorcyclist who was killed in a crash on Market Street Friday night has been identified.

While trying to pass a car near 32nd Street, Lemanns Conn, 42, struck the rear of the vehicle and lost control, investigators said. The crash was reported at 11:37 p.m.

Conn slid through the intersection, ultimately coming to rest on a sidewalk. Deputy coroner Jo-Ann Farmer confirmed Conn died of multiple blunt force injuries.

He was not wearing a helmet, police spokeswoman Carey Klain said.

He was taken to University of Louisville Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. The driver of the car was checked by medics and did not need to go to the hospital.

Funeral arrangements have been made at Perryman Funeral Home.
