Oklahoma City, OK : A Texas man died in an Atoka County motorcycle crash on Thursday, 19th April 2018

A Texas man died Thursday in an Atoka County motorcycle crash, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports.

Robert Walter Jones, 52, of Haltom City, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene about 2:10 p.m. on State Highway 7 about 12 miles west of Atoka, the patrol reports.

Jones was driving a motorcycle west on SH 7 when he lost control for an unknown reason and hit a guard rail and was thrown from the motorcycle. He wore a helmet.
