The South Carolina Highway Patrol is seeking information about a fatal hit and run accident that happened Saturday on US-17 (Speedway Blvd.) near the South Carolina/ Georgia State line in Jasper County.
Officials say a pedestrian was struck and killed at 5:20 a.m. by an unknown suspect.
Investigators say the suspect was driving a dark-colored 2014-2016 Chevrolet Impala, which is believed to have damage on the left front bumper/ fender area on the driver side, windshield, and is missing the driver side mirror.
