Lindsay, OK : 21-year-man died after an all-terrain vehicle accident in south-central Oklahoma on early Wednesday morning July 30th 2014

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a 21-year-man was killed after an all-terrain vehicle accident in south-central Oklahoma.

The highway patrol says the wreck happened either late Tuesday or early Wednesday on a county road near Lindsay in Garvin County. According to a preliminary report, Dalton Ernst of Lindsay was killed when he lost control of his ATV, which overturned and landed on top of him.

Ernst was pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway patrol says the accident was reported to the highway patrol shortly after 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, but investigators believe the wreck had happened several hours earlier.
