Two people are dead after a carjacking led to a crash outside a car dealership on U.S. 17-29 in DeLand just before noon Thursday.The southbound lanes of U.S. 17-92, also known as South Woodland Boulevard, were shut down in front of the RC Hill Mitsubishi dealership as emergency crews worked the crash.Video from Chopper 2 showed a Volkswagen, a PT Cruiser and a third vehicle sustained significant damage.According to the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office, a woman was manually washing her PT Cruiser
on South Charles R. Beall Boulevard in DeBary around 11:30 a.m., when a man accosted her and jumped into her car and sped off.
