Augustaville, PA : Northumberland man struck and killed by a vehicle on Route 890 in Rockefeller Township on Tuesday morning, May 10, 2016

A Northumberland man was killed at around 12:35 a.m.Tuesday morning when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 890.

State police in Stonington identified the victim as Kevin Jo Colon-Gonzalez, 20.

Police said he was struck by a 2012 Hyundai Sonata driven by Daniel A. Hines, 32, of Harrisburg, in the northbound lane of Route 890 near the intersection with Cherry Street, near Augustaville.

Police declined to comment further on the accident and said it was still under investigation.
