Marysville, OH : A Marysville woman is injured in a crash on Collins Road on April, Monday 17th 2017

A Marysville woman is in stable condition after an crash on Collins Road in Allen Township Monday night. According to a release from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received the initial report of the crash at about 8:44 p.m. A 2016 Toyota Scion tC, driven by Amanda N. Diedrich, 19, of Marysville, was going northbound on Collins Road when it struck a mailbox. The vehicle then went off the right side of the road, struck trees and a utility pole, and came to rest on its top. The photo above shows the vehicle after it was flipped back over. The vehicle’s engine and transmission were thrown about 125 feet from the vehicle into a wooded area. MedFlight flew Diedrich from the scene to Grant Medical Center. The Multi-County Crash Investigation team is investigating the incident. Excessive speed is believed to be a factor in the crash.
