Tolland, CT : Two people were injured in a two-car head-on collision at Crystal Lake Road near the intersection of High Ridge Drive On Sunday, May 22nd, 2016

Two people were taken to area hospitals after a two-car, head-on collision late Sunday, fire officials said.
State police and the Fire Department responded to the accident on Crystal Lake Road near the intersection of High Ridge Drive at 7:45 p.m., Fire Chief John Littell said.
Neither vehicle was carrying passengers other than the drivers, Littell said.
Firefighters and emergency medical personnel removed both drivers from their vehicles, he said. One was taken to St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford while the other was brought to Hartford Hospital, Littell said.
The road was shut down for one hour, he added.
The names of the drivers have not been released and an investigation is ongoing.
