PLYMOUTH, IN : A two vehicle head on collision in South Bend on Tuesday, 24th July 2018

A two vehicle head on collision sent three individuals to the Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The accident happened on Michigan Road near the Custer Road intersection. Scott Swihart, 20, of Plymouth was driving south bound on Michigan when he fell asleep and drifted across the center line hitting another vehicle head on. Swihart was driving a 2008 Jeep SUV.
That vehicle was a 2010 Honda driven by Yuging Lei, 26, of Plymouth. Lei also had a passenger in the vehicle.
All three were taken to Memorial Hospital with unknown injuries.
The accident is still under investigation by Officer Rob Hafke.
