Chuluota, FL : Three people injured after van slammed into a house in Chuluota on Friday morning, June 19, 2015

A van slammed into a house Friday morning in Chuluota, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Troopers said the van crashed into the front of the home shortly after 8 a.m. after it was rear-ended by a pickup truck on East Second Street.

"There was a minor accident. One truck rear-ended a van and it seemed like it pushed the van into the structure," Seminole County Fire spokesman Marc Baumgart said.

Francy Quiros and her husband Ricky said they were with their baby in their bedroom when they heard a crash.

"It was terrifying. It is a feeling that I cannot really describe," Francy Quiros said.

"I just heard this big explosion, and came to my kitchen and a car was inside my house," Ricky Quiros said.

Two men in the van and the driver of the pickup truck were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

"This area, it's crazy all the time. People drive like crazy," Francy Quiros said.

Investigators said the driver of the pickup was ticketed for careless driving.

The Red Cross is helping the Quiros family find a place to stay while repairs are being made.
