Firefighters were working the scene of a crash on US Hwy 25 Sunday night.
Troopers said the call came in around 7:06 p.m.
The crash reportedly occurred on US 25 near Old Plantation Road and Neil's Fireworks in Travelers Rest.
Troopers confirmed that injuries were sustained during the wreck. Witnesses said traffic was at a stand still along the interstate as crews worked the scene.
A business owner on the scene did not want to be named, but told FOX that residents had sent in a petition to have the "terrible" roads in the area fixed.
"This is the second second accident we had here in less than 2 weeks, in the same spot within 20 feet," said the explained the business owner. "I guess it's coming around road conditions on Hwy 25."
The coroner said he is not responding to the crash at this time.
